The IT Field Technician will be responsible for IT installation and IT maintenance of field installed business equipment and software.
|Duties:||•Review electronic supporting documents in the business environment and develop/follow solutions that can be implemented for resolution of all technical opportunities. |
•Providing technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer training, and delivery of professional systems consulting/integration services.
•Ensuring long-range initiatives are pursued in order to acquire capabilities in advance of trend/need.
•Providing training and guidance to less experienced team members.
•Work with Sales and customers to define and implement network solutions related to MFP’s and software solutions that we sell.
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software systems in conjunction with printing, emailing, scanning, and management of MFP's.
•Maintain a clean driving record and current liability insurance.
|Qualifications:||EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE|
•2+ years of directly related technical support experience preferred.
•Following certifications are required:
•Other certifications such as MCSE, CNE, and Security + are a plus but not required.
•Experience in Document Management Solutions and in Office/Enterprise Printing Environments preferred.
•Effective presentation and oral and written communications skills with both internal and external customers.
•Solid analytical, critical thinking, time management, teamwork, and organizational skills
•Possess basic hardware troubleshooting skills and perform basic hardware triage on-site when required/requested.
•General knowledge of the use of test instruments and hand tools.
•Good mechanical comprehension, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Ability to work well under pressure.
•Able to sit for long periods of time
•Able to stand for long periods of time
•Able to lift 50 pounds
•Able to speak clear English
